Incident Summary – Day shift Monday 13th March 2017

 08:46  Newton Morrell, Richmond

 A crew from Richmond assisted ambulance crews with a female casualty who had fallen down a staircase into an air ambulance.

 09:19   Barugh Lane, Little Barugh, Malton

 Crews from Pickering and Kirkbymoorside have a report of smoke from a shower unit, this was found to be due to an overheated switch, electricity isolated by crews.

 12:05   Carmelite Street, York

 A crew from York attended a report of an alarm sounding, on inspection this was found to be due to cooking fumes

 13:58   Tractor fire in field near Kirkby Malzeard

 Crews from Ripon and Masham have attended a tractor fire, this was extinguished using 2 breathing apparatus, 1 main jet and foam. The tractor was completely destroyed and the cause is believed to be accidental

 14:02   St Nicholas Cliff, Scarborough

 A crew from Scarborough have attended a bin fire, this was extinguished using one hose reel, cause accidental dropped light

 15:48   Aberdeen Walk, Scarborough

 2 crews from Scarborough and Filey were sent to reports of a smell of fire in a building which had activated the alarm, on arrival this was found to be a false alarm and it was sounding due to a fault on the system.
