Incident Summary Day Shift Monday 25th January

Round up of incidents for Day Shift 25th January

 09.59   Lewis Road, Northallerton

 RTC involving a single vehicle that left the road and hit a garden wall.

No persons trapped in the incident. Fire crews from Northallerton assisted

at scene to make vehicle and area safe. Ambulance & Police also in attendance.


10.42  Main street, Church Fenton.

 Fire crew from Tadcaster attempting to make safe a derelict building. Loose tiles are threatening public safety. Crews using a 9m ladder to access tiles and remove.


11.47  Clark Beck Close, Pannal

 Fire crews assisting at premises that has water leaking into it. Source of leak located and crews are attempting to isolate water.


13.38 Kirk House, Kirk Road, Romanby, Northallerton

 Two fire crews from Northallerton attended a small fire in a flat in the Kirk House complex.  Firefighters discovered the fire to be extinguished upon their arrival, however the occupant was suffering smoke inhalation. Occupant left in care of paramedics.


14.44  Fulwith Mill Lane, Harrogate

 Fire crews from Harrogate attended an incident involving a male on a building project that had fallen from roof to 2nd floor level scaffolding. Fire crews used an Aerial Ladder Platform (along with a Ferno stretcher) as a rescue platform to lower the male to ground level. Male,  with leg injuries was handed to care of paramedics. He was then transported to hospital by road ambulance
