Round up of incidents – Day Shift Tuesday 10th May 10, 2016

Brakenhill Close, Brayton, Selby

Crew called to an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and after investigation crew confirmed this to be a false alarm due to a fault in detector.

A1 Northbound, Boroughbridge to Dishforth

Boroughbridge, Knaresborough and Ripon appliances attended a single vehicle road traffic collision. On arrival, crews confirmed no persons trapped. One occupant of vehicle in care of Paramedics. Fire and Rescue crews carried out general scene safety.

Wiggington Road, York

Local crew sent to an automatic fire alarm activation, on en route a back up call was received to advise this was believed to be a fire in the building, so back up crews were also sent. On arrival of the first crew and after investigation, this was confirmed to be a false alarm.

Chapelfields Road, York

Acomb crew sent to a report of a fire in the open. On arrival, crew confirmed this to be a malicious call. No fire, youths in area.
