 09:49 St Nicholas Street, Scarborough

Local crews responded to assist with the rescue of a bird trapped in netting on the side of a commercial building. The Aerial Ladder Platform vehicle was used to rescue the bird from height. The bird was then left in the hands of the RSPCA.

11:18 Gallowgate, Richmond

Richmond crew called to assist in moving an elderly resident in their home. Crew used manpower to move the resident, who was then left in the care of a family member.

12:27 Abbots Road, Selby

Selby crew called to assist in lifting a patient who had fallen in their home. Crew used manpower to move the patient, who was then left in the care of a family member.

13:02 Hull Road, York

York crew called to an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and after investigation this was found to be a false alarm due to fumes from an aerosol.

13:55 Dean Road, Scaborough

Crews from Scarborough and Filey called to reports of an alarm sounding in a property and smoke in the building. On arrival and after investigation, crews found this to be a false alarm due to fumes from cooking.
