Incident Summary – Day Shift Tuesday 14th February

 

 

Lancaster Park Road, Harrogate

Crew sent to an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and after investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm.

 

Hull Road, Osbaldwick, York

York and Acomb crews attended after a report of a single vehicle road traffic collision. On arrival, crews assisted with airbags to release a male casualty from under a vehicle.

 

Black Horse Lane, York

Huntington crew sent to an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and after investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm.

 

Barlby Road, Barlby, Selby

Selby crew sent to an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and after investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm.

 

Market Place, Masham

Masham crew attended after a report of a chimney fire. Crew extinguished the fire from the hearth and carried out investigations following smoke build up in the property. Crew used a 9 metre ladder, roof ladder and chimney kit. The cause of the fire is believed to be due to a build up of soot.

 

Chapel Street, Thirsk

Thirsk crew sent to an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and after investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm.
