Heslington Road, York

York crew sent to an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and after investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm due to accidental activation.

 

Market Place, Helmsley

Local crew sent to report of diesel leaking from a vehicle. On arrival, crews used sand to make safe and requested assistance of Highways.

 

Knotto Bottom Close, Northallerton

Crews called to reports of a fire in the open. On arrival, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm with good intent due to controlled burning being carried out, under supervision.

 

Southgate, Ripon

Ripon crew attended and dealt with a bin fire in the open. One hose reel used to extinguish the fire. The bin and contents 100% destroyed by fire. The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental, due to a dropped light.
