Incident Summary Day Shift 22nd October

21st October 2016

Tower Street, York

York crew sent to a person stuck in a lift. On arrival, crew assisted by using lift gear and released the person from the lift, unharmed.

Magnolia Grove, New Earswick, York

Huntington and York crews called after a report of a possible house fire. On arrival, crew dealt with a fire to a dishwasher. One hose reel used to extinguish, dishwasher then removed to open air in garden by crews. Crews then ventilated property and gave advice.

Alga Terrace, York

Scarborough crews called after a report of a possible house fire. On arrival, crew dealt with a fire which started in and was confined to the ground floor bathroom. Fire extinguished using one hose reel. No persons involved. Crews then ventilated property before leaving the incident.

Oakdale Avenue, Harrogate

Harrogate crew sent to an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and after investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm.

Lascelles Lane, Northallerton

Northallerton crews sent to an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and after investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm due to cooking fumes.
