Incident Summary – Day Shift Thursday 6th October

Waterloo Street, Harrogate 1050

Harrogate crew assisted after a female had fallen outside a shop. She was treated with first aid for minor cuts by Fire and Rescue personnel, prior to arrival of paramedics. Incident then left in hands of Ambulance personnel.

Church Road, Sutton-in-Craven, Keighley 1200

Skipton crew sent to an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and after investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm due to a fault on the system.

A64 Eastbound, Bishopthorpe area 1351

Acomb and York crews sent to a report of smoke issuing from a vehicle. On arrival, Acomb crew confirmed this to be a false alarm, with good intent, after steam from a burst water pipe on the vehicle had been mistaken for smoke.

Bluebeck Drive, Acomb, York 1525

Acomb crew sent to an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and after investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm.
