Fire crews from Scarborough called to reports of a smell of burning in a property. On arrival and after investigation, crews confirmed this to be a false alarm with good intent. No fire.

Kent Street, York

A member of the public approached crews at York to remove a ring from her finger. Crews safely removed the ring using ring cutters.

South Crescent, Ripon

Ripon crew sent to an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and after investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm due to a fault on the system.

The Crescent, Monk Fryston

Selby crew called to a report of smoke issuing from a parked car. On arrival, crews found smoke coming from under the vehicle. Thermal Image Camera used to check and 1 hose reel jet used to extinguish and cool.

Linden Road, Northallerton

Northallerton crews sent to reports of a chimney fire. On arrival, chimney fire well alight. Crew extinguished with chimney kit and hose reel.

Fulford Road, York

York crew called to an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and after investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm due to insects in detector.

Sturdy Court, Kirkbymoorside

Local crew called to an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival, crews confirmed activation occurred due to burnt food in a microwave oven. Crew ensured the property was well ventilated before leaving the incident.

Scalby Road, Woodlands, Scarborough

Scarborough crew called to an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and after investigation crews confirmed this to be a false alarm due to a fault in break glass point.

Filey Road, Scarborough

Scarborough crew called to an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and after investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm due to cooking fumes.

Sunnycrest Avenue, Richmond

Richmond crew called to a report of a fire in the area. On arrival, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm with good intent due to controlled burning under supervision.
