Incident Summary – Night shift Saturday 1st April

 

 

17:40 Sycamore Close, Bainbridge, Hawes area

Hawes and Leyburn crews sent after a report of smoke alarms sounding in a residential building. On arrival and after investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm due to cooking fumes.

 

17:47 York Road, Barlby, Selby

Selby crews attended following a report of smoke issuing from what was believed to be a building. On arrival, crews confirmed this to be a false alarm with good intent, due to emissions from a boiler.

 

19:05 Cross Lanes, Easingwold

Easingwold crew sent to an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and after investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm.

 

19:18 Moor Lane, Acomb

Acomb crew attended a single vehicle road traffic collision. On arrival, crew confirmed no persons trapped. Crew treated one male on scene with first aid, prior to arrival of Ambulance personnel. Crew also carried out scene safety.
