Time of call 07:33

Fire crew from Huntington attended a fire in a derelict building. Fire is believed to have been started deliberately. Crews used one hose reel jet, triple extension ladder and thermal imaging camera.


James Street, Harrogate

Time of call 11:24

Fire crew from Harrogate responded to an automatic fire alarm in a commercial premises., This was a false alarm caused by a fault in the system


Grosvenor Gardens, Huby

Time of call 11:25

Fire crew from Harrogate assisted Ambulance crews with gaining access to a property in order to treat an elderly male casualty. Crews used first aid kit and gained access using manpower.


Bondgate Court, Ripon

Two fire crews from Ripon attended a report of a fire alarm sounding in a residential premises. This was a false alarm caused by fumes from cooking.


Main Street, Darley

Time of call 13:19

Two fire crews from Harrogate attended a report of smoke in a property. The occupant had been drying clothes too close to a heater and the clothing had charred and produced smoke. Occupant had ventilated the premises and Fire Service crews gave advice.


Skate Park, Selby Leisure Centre, Scott Road, Selby

Selby appliance was called to a report of a small fire. Out on arrival, inspection only.


Rear Aldi, Jennyfield Drive, Harrogate

Fire crew from Harrogate have attended a small camp fire lit by youths in woodland. They extinguished the fire using water backpacks and gave advice to the youths.


St Georges Field Car Park, Tower Street, York

Fire crew from York have attended a bin on fire, extinguished using a bucket of water – cause dropped light.


Huntington School, Huntington Road, York

Time of call 17:03

One pump from Huntington attended an automatic fire alarm activation at this premises, false alarm caused by heat from hairdryer.


Red Lane, Masham

Time of call 17:28

Fire crew from Masham attended an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and after investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm.
