The Shambles, York

York and Acomb crews sent to an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and after full investigation, crews confirmed this to be a false alarm due to dust entering a detector.

 

Chapel Street, Thirsk

Thirsk crew sent to an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and after investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm due to cooking fumes. Crew remained in attendance to ventilate the premise.

 

Bull Lane, Guildhall, York

York crew sent to reports of a fire in the open. On arrival, crews extinguished a small rubbish fire with a bucket of water. Cause believed deliberate.

 

Station Road, Threshfield

Grassington crew sent to an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and after investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm due to cooking fumes.

 

A19 South Bound before Thirsk

Crews from Northallerton and Thirsk sent to various reports of a car fire. On arrival, crews confirmed car fire. Driver out of vehicle, unharmed. Crew extinguished the fire using 2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel.

 

Acomb Wood Drive, York

Crews from York and Acomb along with a local officer sent to reports of a fire in a property. On arrival, crews dealt with a fire in the kitchen of the property. Extinguished using 1 hose reel jet. All occupants out of the property on fire service arrival, left in hands of paramedics for checks.

 

Slip road from A1, Heading into Bramham

Tadcaster crew sent to a report of a car fire. On arrival, crew confirmed one unoccupied car well alight, one hose reel jet used to extinguish. Police requested to attend.
