Incident Summary – Day Shift 23rd March

08:17 Pale Lane, Skipton

Skipton appliances assisted with the rescue of two occupants from a vehicle stuck in floodwater. Crews wore life jackets and used wading poles to access the occupants, who were released and lead to safety.

10:01 Firs Avenue, Ripon

Ripon appliances and swift water rescue team assisted with the rescue of an occupant and their vehicle from a ford in Ripon. The vehicle was winched to safety ground, allowing a safe exit from the vehicle for the occupant. Incident left in hands of Police.

13:57 Bluebeck Drive, York

York crew sent to an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and after investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm.

14:12 A1 Northbound Gatherley to Scotch Corner

Richmond crew attended a two vehicle road traffic collision. Both drivers from both vehicles out on arrival of Fire and Rescue, in care of paramedics. Crews carried out general scene safety before leaving the scene.
