Incident Summary – Day Shift Sunday 3rd September

 

 

07:51 Knaresborough Road, Harrogate

Harrogate crew sent to an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and following investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm.

 

10:14 Southgate, Pickering

Pickering and Kirkbymoorside fire crews attended and extinguished a fire to a residential property. Crews entered the property in breathing apparatus and rescued two dogs, left in care of vets. Crews extinguished the fire using two hose reel jets and checked for hotspots using a thermal image camera. Fire believed to be accidental.

 

12:34 Wreyfield Drive, Newby, Scarborough

Scarborough crews sent to an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and following investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm.

 

15:36 M62 Westbound Junction 34

Single vehicle road traffic collision. Selby, Goole and Pontefract fire and rescue crews in attendance. Crews have released two casualties from vehicle using cutting equipment. Remaining on scene assisting paramedics. Further details to follow.

 

15:55 Spa Lane, Harrogate

Harrogate crew attended the area following a report of a fire in the open. Crew confirmed fire out on arrival, inspection only. Cause believed deliberate.

 

16:11 Edens Way, Ripon

Ripon crew attended and extinguished a small fire in woodland, using 1 hose reel jet.
