Incident Bulletin Nightshift November 18th

Incident Summary – Night Shift  Sunday 18th November 2018

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

Along with the incidents listed below we have also attended several false alarms throughout the night in the following areas:

Harrogate

Whitby

Northallerton

York

Malton

Skipton

18:33     West Rounton

2 fire appliances from Northallerton attended a property fire where some paper had ignited from residual heat from a log burner. The fire caused a small amount of fire damage and a large amount of smoke damage to the property.  Crews used 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera at the incident.

21:46     Harrogate

A fire crew from Harrogate attended a chimney fire at a residential property. Crews extinguished the fire using specialist chimney equipment.

05:16     A66 Smallways

Fire crews from Richmond, Bedale and Darlington attended a 2 vehicle road traffic collision. Both occupants of each vehicle were out on arrival of the fire service. Fire crews assisted with making the scene safe.
