11:14 Station Road, Tadcaster

Crews from Tadcaster and an officer attended an incident where a Yorkshire Terrier dog named Ruby had become stuck halfway through a set of gate railings. Fire crews released the dog using edraulic spreader and sharps kit.


12:28   Gale Farm Court, York

A fire crew from Acomb attended an alarm sounding at a property


14:41   Aspin Drive, Knaresborough

Crews from Knaresborough attended flooding in the open affecting several properties. Fire crews removed water from the roadway caused from a build up of debris in the drains using an ejector pump. Crews attempted to remove the debris in the drains.


14:41   West Bank Park, New Lane, York

Fire crews from Acomb and York attended reports of a fire in a derelict building within the park. Crews used a bucket of water to extinguish the fire.


15:09   Church Lane, Boroughbridge

Fire crews from Boroughbridge attended reports of flooding into a commercial property. Crews used a light portable pump to remove water from the inside of the property. Crews also attempted to unblock the drains of leaves and other debris.


15:19   Dishforth Village, Dishforth

Ripon crew attended reports of flooding into several properties. Crews removed water using a light portable pump, crews also tried to remove debris from blocked drains.


15:28 Springfield Drive, Boroughbridge

Crews from Boroughbridge and also an officer attended flooding to several properties. Crews used the main pump to assist with removing the water. Crews attempted to remove some debris from drains which had become blocked.


15:29   Stirling Road, York

A fire crew from Huntington assisted a disabled female who was unable to get out of her car due to a previous incident preventing her from getting out of the vehicle. Crews managed to open the door and assisted her out of the car.


16:24   Duncombe Park, Helmsley

Hemsley crews attended reports of a tree on fire within the grounds of Duncombe Park. Crews used 1 Hose reel to extinguish the fire.


16:54   Dene Park Close, Harrogate

A fire crew from Harrogate attended an alarm sounding at a domestic property.


16:56   Frenchgate, Richmond

A fire crew from Richmond are currently attending reports of flooding to a property.
