18:15 Willow Way, Skipton

Fire crews from Skipton attended a residential property where an extractor fan had caught fire. Crews used a bucket of water to extinguish a childs pram which had ignited due to part of the fan falling on it. Crews extinguished the fire to the pram using a bucket of water. The fire within the fan was out on arrival of the crew. The fire caused approx 1 sqm of damage to the property.  Crews used a Thermal Imaging Camera and small tools at the incident.

 

19:09     Fairfax Avenue, Selby

A call was received to a property where the alarm was sounding, a fire crew from Selby attended the property.  

 

05:20     Ripley Road, Nidd

A call was received from an occupant stating there was smoke in their garage. Both fire crews from Harrogate and an officer attended the incident. The fire was within a central heating valve and was out on arrival of fire crews. Crews used a thermal imaging camera and small tools at the incident.

 

06:37     Tang Hall Lane, York

Fire crews from York, Acomb and an officer were mobilised to an address where a fire alarm was sounding.  No fire was located at the property, the alarm activated due to cooking fumes.
