21:17 Lady Edith’s Drive, Scarborough

A call was received to an alarm sounding at a commercial address, on arrival crews completed a through investigation and found no reason for the alarm to be sounding. This was left with the key holder of the property.

 

01:35 Scalby Road, Scarborough

A call was received to an alarm sounding at a residential property. Scarborough crews attended this and found no reason why the alarm had been sounding. No action was required of the Fire Service.

 

03:49     Doncaster Road, Tadcaster

A call was received from a resident stating that the electrical cable in a nearby field was on fire. A crew from Tadcaster attended the incident. Fire crews used a thermal imaging camera at the scene but let the fire burn safely until an engineer from Northern Power Grid could attend and isolate the electrical supply. The incident was handed over to Northern Power Grid and left with them to deal with/
