Please see below a round up of incidents from Thursday 5th April Night Shift

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

Seamer Road, Scarborough  Time 18:47

A kitchen cabinet at a residential property was on fire. Crews from Scarborough and Filey extinguished the fire using a hose reel jet and thermal image camera.

Ugthorpe, Whitby  Time 20:31

A crew from Lythe pumped water from a cellar that had flooded using a light portable pump and lengths of hose.

 Greenfield Park, York  Time 21:42

Crews from Acomb and York extinguished a fire to wooden sheds. The cause is believed deliberate with damage to sheds only. Crews used two hose reel jets and a ceiling hook.

Princess Drive, York  Time 21:49

A crew from Acomb attended a fire to wheelie bins in a bin store. The damage was confined to the wheelie bins and the cause is believed deliberate. Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.

Automatic Fire Alarms

In addition to the above incidents our Fire crews attended automatic fire alarm calls in York, Harrogate and Scarborough.  All were false alarms.
