Incident Summary, Night Shift Thursday 7th July

 TOC    17:07   A59, Flaxby

 Crews from Knaresborough, Harrogate and Ripon attended a report of two vehicle road traffic collision.  One male was released from vehicle by firefighters using hydraulic cutting equipment and taken to hospital with chest injuries, a further male was taken to hospital with a suspected broken leg and two females were treated for chest pains and a cut arm.

 A crew from Northallerton used a main pump to divert water away from houses to prevent flooding into property

 TOC    17:27   Reasty Hill, Harwood Dale, Scarborough

 A crew from Malton extinguished a small fire in the woods possibly due to a campfire being left unattended, one hose reel jet and shovel was used

 TOC    17:43   Market Place, Easingwold

 A crew from Easingwold assisted workmen with a piece of tarmac in the road that had risen due to storm water, small tools used

 TOC    18:27   Blazeleys Lane, Norton, Malton

TOC    19:15   Village Street, Ganthorpe, Malton

 A crew from Malton attended incidents for flooding in premises due to floodwater.  Advice given

 TOC    19:42   Sutherland Street York

 A crew from York used small tools to assist with flooding in a property due to a leak from a bath

 TOC    20:16   Scarborough Road, High Hutton, Malton

 A crew from Malton assisted with flooding into premises due to heavy rainfall, a light portable pump was used to pump and divert floodwater away from the properties

 TOC    20:52   Elivington Lane, York

 A crew from York assisted police to make a vehicle safe following a road traffic collision, no persons were trapped or injured, a thermal imaging camera was used.

 TOC    20:54   Stainburn, nr Harrogate

 A crew from Harrogate extinguished a fire to a tree and scrubland using knapsack sprayers.

 Automatic Fire Alarms - Various 

Crews from Tadcaster, Easingwold, Thirsk, Knaresborough and Scarborough have also attended various reports of automatic fire alarm sounding thoughout the night, none of which were the result of fire
