Incident Summary Friday 17th August Night Shift

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

Time 1931    Location: Castle Street, Spofforth

A small fire to a tractor was out on arrival of Harrogate crews. The owner had used a bucket of water.  The fire started when leaves and debris touched the hot engine parts.

Time 2340   Location: Hull Road, York

York crew investigated smoke in the area of houses on Hull Road. False alarm due to controlled burning in a nearby garden.

In addition to the above incidents our crews attended automatic fire alarm activations in Harrogate, Tadcaster, Malton and York.  All were false alarms
