Incident Summary Friday 17th November Night Shift

 Time 1850     Location: Lawrence Street, York

 York crews assisted the occupants of a flat that had water leaking in from the flat above.

 Time 1856     Location: Muston Road, Filey

 Hydraulic cutting gear was used to rescue a female from her car after it was involved in a 2 vehicle road traffic collision. She was taken to hospital by ambulance suffering possible head and spinal injuries.

 Time 2000     Location: Boroughbridge Road, Northallerton

2 young children were released after becoming stuck in a lift car. Northallerton crew used lift keys for release.

 Time 2342     Location: Church Street, Whiby

 Whitby crews extinguished a fire in a car caused by a likely electrical fault. Fire damage to car interior only. A hose reel was used.

 Time 2213     Location: Flaxley Road, Selby

 Selby crews investigated a smell of burning in a domestic property that turned out to be melted plastic on a hot light bulb. A thermal image camera was used.

 In addition to the above incidents our crews attended automatic fire alarm activations in Northallerton, York and Harrogate.  All were false alarms.
