Incident Summary, Day shift, Sunday 20th August

 TOC 08:53      Viking Road, York

A crew from York attended reports of an alarm sounding this was due to cooking fumes

 TOC 09:30      Warshill nr Summerbridge

 Two crews from Harrogate attended a report of a fire in the area, on arrival this was found to be a fire involving straw and tyres, crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire, this was due to a spark from a harvester

 TOC 11:05      Great Busby nr Stokesley

A crew from Stokesley attended a report of a fire to a grain drier, this involved approx. half a tonne of grain smouldering is the drier, grain removed to open air and allowed to burn out.

 TOC    12:56   Maple Drive, Scarborough

 A crew from Scarborough attended a report of fire to a hedge, buckets of water were used to extinguish the fire

 TOC    13:08   Barrowcliff Road, Scarborough

 A crew from Scarborough attended a report of smoke in the area, this was found to be controlled burning, advice given

 TOC    14:46   Great Edstone, Kirkbymoorhouse

 Crews from Helmsley and Pickering attended a baler fire, two hose reel jets and hand tools were used to extinguish the fire.

 TOC    14:57   South Cowton

 A crew from Richmond attended a fire in a stubble field measuring 20m x 15m, crews used hose reels, back pack sprayers and beaters to extinguish the fire.

 TOC    15:55   Ripon road, Wormald Green

 A crew from Ripon attended a RTC were they assisted with a fuel leak from the vehicle using drizzit pads

 TOC    16:25   Spittal Bridge, Whitby

 Crews from Whitby and Lythe attended reports of an alarm sounding with a smell of smoke, on arrival this was found to be due to a fire to the cooker, 2 breathing apparatus were used.

TOC    16:43   Main Street, Gilling East, Helmsley

Crews from Helmsley and Easingwold attended a gazebo fire attached to a property, this was extinguished prior to arrival, ventilation carried out by crews

 TOC    17:08   Pollard Gardens, Scarborough

 A crew from Scarborough attended report of an alarm sounding, this was due to cooking fumes.
