Nr Brotherton Quarry, Brotherton Selby – Fire in the Open

 Crews from Selby and Pontefract attended a fire involving approx. 15sqm of rubbish in the open, they used a hose reel jet to put it out, cause was believed to be deliberate.

Fulfordgate, York, - Alarm sounding

 A crew from York attended reports of an alarm sounding at a school at the above location, on arrival crews were unable to gain access so a thorough external investigation was carried out to ensure there was no sign of fire.

A crew from Bedale attended a chimney fire which was out on arrival. cause was believed to be due to a birds nest in chimney

 A crew from Harrogate went to a report of an alarm sounding, on arrival this was found to be due to cookiing fumes, investigation only

Cavendish View, Skipton Road, Skipton - House fire person rescued

2 crews from Skipton attended a report of fire at the above location, on arrival it was found to have been a fire in the kitchen due to cooking being left unattended, one female was rescued from the property and suffering slight smoke inhalation, a thorough search of the property was carried out by firefighters to confirm there were no other persons in the propery. The fire was out on arrival of crews.  Thermal imaging camera and lighting used.
