07:35     Clifton, York

A fire crew from Acomb attended a report of flooding inside a premise, on arrival this was found to be due to a fire to a water heater in a cupboard which had burst a pipe causing flooding to the basement and ground floor.  The fire was out on arrival of crews who used small tools to make the area safe.

10:36     A19 Knayton

A fire crew from Thirsk attended a report of smoke coming from a large vehicle, on arrival this was found to be due to a blown rear tyre so fire service action was not required

12:04     A64, Malton

Crews from Malton, Pickering and Sherburn attended a two vehi cle road traffic collision, on arrival they found it involved a transit van and a car with a male and female trapped inside the car.  Crews released the male and female using hydraulic cutting equipment, they are believed to be uninjured. The male from the transit van was taken to hospital for a precautionary check up.

12:06     Wreyfield Drive, Scarborough

A crew from Scarborough attended a report of a smoke alarm sounding, on arrival this was found to be a false alarm due to a fault on the system.

12:22     Nunthorpe Village

A crew from Scarborough attended a bin fire and used one hosereel to put the fire out, the cause is believed to be accidental

14:06     Westfields, Kirkbymoorside

A crew from Helmsley attended a report of a smoke alarm sounding, on arrival this was found to be a false alarm due to

14:14     Dales Avenue, Embsay

 A crew from Skipton attended a report of a smoke alarm sounding, on arrival this was found to be a false alarm due to a faulty detector.

15:39     Common Lane, South Milford

A crew from Tadcaster attended a report of afire in the open near the A162, when they got there they requested another fire engine and a water bowser for additional water supply.

16:13     Scalby Road, Scarborough

A fire crew from Scarborough attended reports of smoke from a house, on arrival this was found to be a false alarm as the smoke was from controlled burning which had been left unattended, advice given.
