Incident Summary – Night Shift 24th June

A64 Eastbound, Bilborough to Copmanthorpe

Crews were called to a report of a vehicle on the side of the road, appeared to be a road traffic collision. On arrival crews confirmed this to be a false alarm with good intent due to an earlier incident. Police aware and attended earlier incident, vehicle awaiting recovery.

Byland Avenue, Northallerton

Crews called to an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and after investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm due to faulty detector. Inspection only, advice given.

Westmoreland Street, Harrogate

Harrogate crew sent to a report of a smoke alarm sounding. On arrival and after investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm due to a fault in the system. Inspection only.

Heslington Lane, York

York crew sent to an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and after investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm due to a system fault.

High Street, Tadcaster

Tadcaster crew called to an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm due to a system fault.
