Filey Avenue, Ripon

Crews from Ripon have attended reports of a house fire with persons possibly reported inside. Thankfully on arrival crews found that all persons were safely outside the property at the time and the fire was out on arrival. Crews ventilated the property using a positive pressure ventilation fan and checked for hotspots inside.

Foss Field Lane, York

Time of call: 18:17

A crew from York have attended reports of a fire in the open. This turned out to be controlled burning and advice was given.

Stang Lane, Farnham

Time of call: 18:49

A crew from Harrogate and Knaresborough have attended reports of a car fire following a road traffic collision. On arrival crews found the car smouldering and used a hose reel to dampen down before making the vehicle safe using hand tools. All persons were out of the vehicle and being assessed by paramedics.

Market Place, Ripon

Time of call: 19:26

A crew from Ripon have investigated reports of a small fire in an alleyway off the Market Place. Crews found a small fire that was out on arrival which was believed to be set deliberately. Police attended also to investigate.

Olympian Court, York

A crew from York have released a female who was stuck inside a lift using lift keys.
