Automatic fire alarm sounding, believed to have been caused by a faulty detector

09:59 Blake Street, York

Fire to light fitting in roof void of ground floor commercial property, caused fire damage to light fitting and transformer. Crews used thermal imaging camera to investigate

11:06 Ripon Road, Harrogate

Automatic fire alarm sounding, this was due to the testing of the system

11:19 Highfield Road, Malton

Malton crews attended reports of a car fire, on arrival this was found to be a false alarm due to an overheated engine

12:00 Walton Close, Huby

Smoke alarm sounding, due to cooking fumes

13:34 A19, Bagby

2 vehicle Road Traffic collision involving one large goods vehicle and 1 car. Crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to release the driver of the car. The casualty was then transported to hospital via ambulance.
