Birch Avenue, Sleights

A crew from Whitby and Lythe responded initially to an automatic fire alarm. On arrival firefighters, wearing breathing apparatus entered the smoke filled property and lead an elderly female out to safety. Crews used 2 breathing apparatus, a hose reel and positive pressure ventilation fan.

 

Towthorpe Moor Lane, Strensall

Time of call: 09:23

                                

Crews from Huntington have attended reports of a single vehicle road traffic collision. On arrival crews found two cars involved in a collision with people trapped inside. Crews used hydraulic cutting gear to extricate the causalities and left in hands of paramedics.

 

Forest Way, Harrogate

Time of call: 13:17

                                

Crews from Harrogate have attended an automatic fire alarm. This was a false alarm caused by cooking fumes.

 

Bellwood Drive, York

Time of call: 13:17

                                

Crews from Acomb have released a small child who was locked in a kitchen. Crews used a de-walt saw.
