A crew from York have attended an automatic fire alarm. This was caused by an accidental operation of a break glass point.

 

Foreshore Road, Scarborough

Time of call: 18:41

                                

A crew from Scarborough have attended an automatic fire alarm. This was due to a fault on the system.

 

Alness Drive, York

Time of call: 19:25

                                

A crew from Acomb have attended reports of a small fire in woods. Crews used a bucket of water to extinguish.

 

Sheepfoot Hill, Malton

Time of call: 20:25

                                

A crew from Malton have investigated a smell of gas leaking from a gas installation. Crews used a gas detector to test the gas and waited for the arrival of a gas engineer. Crews assisted engineer. No action by the Fire Service was required.

 

Hardraw Road, Hawes

A crew from Hawes have extinguished a small fire in the open using a hose reel.

A crew from Acomb and Knaresborough have extinguished a chimney fire. Crews used 10.5 metre ladder, 1 hose reel, thermal imaging camera, salvage sheets, small tools and lighting.

Crews from Malton have attended a chip pan fire. Crews used 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel and thermal imaging camera before ventilating the property due to being heavily smoke logged.

A crew from Settle have investigated a smoke alarm sounding in a residential property. This was caused due to fumes from unattended cooking. Crews ventilated the property.
