Incident Summary Day Shift Thursday 7th June 2018

TOC 0744 - York Area

 

Crews were called to reports of a person stuck in a lift. Crews attended and released a single person from the lift.

 

 

 

TOC 0753 – York Area

 

Crews were called to a road traffic  collision involving 2 vehicles. Upon arrival crews found Police and ambulance in attendance and Fire Service not required.

 

 

 

TOC 0800 – Pickering Area

 

Whilst en-route to work this morning a North Yorkshire Fire Officer came across a set of traffic lights that were not working. The Officer stopped and assisted with traffic management until such time as Police arrived to take up traffic management. Police arrived and took over Fire Service personnel.

 

 

 

False alarms:

 

North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews attended multiple false alarm activations throughout the course of the day.
