Norton Road, Malton

Time of call: 07:41


A crew from Malton have extinguished a car  fire which was believed to be caused by an electrical fault however this is not confirmed. Crews used 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel, hooligan tool and small tools.


Station Road, Tadcaster

Time of call: 10:00


A crew from Tadcaster have attended an automatic fire alarm. This was caused by cooking fumes.


Church Street, Whitby

Time of call: 10:38


A crew from Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay have attended reports of a kitchen fire on Church Street, Whitby. On arrival crews discovered the fire was already out and investigated possible hotspots using a thermal imaging camera.


John Street, Filey

Time of call: 11:30


A crew from Filey have released a young child who was locked inside a car. Crews used  a window punch to gain access to the car.


Davygate, York

Time of call: 12:03


A crew from York have attended a bin fire which was out on arrival.


Green Lane, Harrogate

Time of call: 14:51


Crews from Harrogate have attended a small fire in a commercial property. This was extinguished prior to the arrival of the fire service. Crews ventilated the property using on site fans.


A1079 Kexby

Time of call: 15:30


Crews from Acomb, Huntington, Tadcaster and York have investigated an oil tanker on fire heading along the A1079. Crews investigated a large proportion of the A1079 but could not locate  the tanker.
