Incident Summary Day Shift Friday 19th October 2018

 

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

Crews from around the county have attended a number of automatic fire alarms today. Thankfully all of these have been false alarms.

 

Broome Road, York

Time of call: 10:03

 

A crew from Huntington have attended a two vehicle road traffic collision involving one of vehicles colliding with a telegraph pole. Crews made the area and vehicles safe and thankfully no persons were trapped. Crews used small tools and left the incident in the hands of the Police and electrical engineer.

Mill Lane, Scarborough

Time of call: 10:28

 

A crew from Scarborough have responded to reports of a car fire. The fire was out on arrival and crews dampened the car down.

Hargill Lane, Redmire

Time of call: 13:21

 

A crew from Reeth have investigated reports of smoke in the area. This turned out to be controlled burning.  

Goose Lane, Sutton-on-the-Forest

Time of call: 16:42

 

A crew from Huntington and Acomb are currently in attendance at two vehicle road traffic collision.
