York: time 18.29

A crew from Acomb attended a ride on lawnmower that had caught fire. On arrival crews found the lawnmower well alight and extinguished it using a dry powder extinguisher.

Harrogate: time 21.21

Crews from Harrogate and Tadcaster attended a grill pan fire. The fire was out on arrival and crews carried out an inspection, gave advice to the owner and used a positive pressure ventilation fan to ventilate the property.

Brandsby: time 23.43

An appliance from Helmsley attended a large bonfire that had gotten out of control. Crews prevented any fire spread to nearby barn and dampened down using one hose reel..

York: time 21.55

Our crew from York fire station were sent to a young male stuck up a tree. Crews rescued the male using a 13.5m ladder and provided advice.

Knaresborough: time 22.56

Knaresborough attended reports of a small fire within a wooded area that was unattended. Crews extinguished the fire using backpack sprayers.

Dijon Avenue, Acomb : time 04:11

Acomb and York have attended reports of smoke issuing from a rear garden. This turned out to be controlled burning.
