A crew from Skipton have released an 11 year old’s leg that had become stuck down a cattle grid suffering bruising only. Crews used edraulic spreaders only.

A crew from Hawes have attended an automatic fire alarm. The cause is unknown.

 

Lincoln Grove, Harrogate

Crews from Harrogate have attended a fire in a residential property. The fire was out on arrival and confined to a door frame. Crews used a knapsack sprayer to dampen down the frame and used a thermal imaging camera to check for any hotspots.

 

High Lane, Newsham

A crew from Acomb, Huntington, York and Tadcaster attended a road traffic collision where a car impacted a house and entered the living room. Three occupants of the car were taken to hospital with head injuries along with one male occupant from the property who suffered severe lower limb injuries having being in the living room at the time. Two other occupants of the house self evacuated as car set on fire. Crews tackled this with 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reels, thermal imaging camera and lighting.
