Update  TOC 12:37   Norwood Lane, Beckwithshaw

Crews from Harrogate, Knaresborough, Summerbridge, Ripon and Boroughbridge, along with an Argocat from Skipton and a water bowser from Tadcaster attended a fire involving approximately 30 acres of woodland, hose reel jets, beaters and knapsacks were used to extinguish the fire which is believed to have been started deliberately.

TOC    17:07   Haxby Road, York

A crew from York assisted in releasing a lady in a wheelchair that could not exit due to the rear door jamming.  Cutting equipment was used to release the lady from the vehicle.

TOC    18:07   Harrogate

A crew from Harrogate attended a report of a television fire, on arrival this was found to be a false alarm., advice given to occupant

TOC    18:11   Harrogate

A crew from Knaresborough attended a report of an automatic fire alarm, this was found to be a false alarm as the detector was activated by a pigeon flying around the building

TOC    18:45   Selby

Two crews from Selby attended a property fire, all persons had evacuated prior to arrival of the fire service,  two breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and positive pressure ventilation fans were used to extinguish the fire and ventilate the property.

TOC    20:20   Selby

Two crews from Selby attended a fire to a pile of rubbish and tyres inside a disused barn, hose reels, ceiling hooks and lighting were used to extinguish the fire.

TOC    20:30   Woodlea Avenue, York

A crew from Acomb attended a report of a tree on fire, one hose reel was used to extinguish the fire.

TOC    21:10   North Marine Road, Scarborough

Crews from Scarborough and Filey attended a fire to a flat caused by a chip pan being left unattended, two breathing apparatus, one hose reel  and fans were used.  Alarms were fitted and activated.  One male was led to safety and was given oxygen therapy to treat smoke inhalation by firefighters before being left with paramedics.

TOC    22:25   Castleton, nr Whitby

A crew from Danby attended a report of an automatic fire alarm, this was found to be a false alarm due to a fault on the system

TOC    23:46   Snaygill Industrial Estate, Skipton

Two crews from Skipton attended a report of fire seen on the industrial estate, on arrival they found one industrial container containing waste building materials well alight, 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets and a ground monitor were used to extinguish the fire the cause is believed to be deliberate.

TOC    02:17   Dean Road, Scarborough

A crew from Scarborough attended a report of an alarm sounding. This was a false alarm caused due to a dry powder extinguisher being accidentally set off.

TOC    04:33   Hurricane Way, York

A crew from Huntington attended a report of an alarm sounding. This was a false alarm caused due defective equipment.

TOC    04:42   Hull Road, York

A crew from York attended a report of an alarm sounding. This was a false alarm with the cause unknown.
