Incident Summary Night Shift Wednesday 12th  August  2018

 In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

Crews from around the county have attended a number of automatic fire alarms today. Thankfully all of these have been false alarms.

 Clarkson Street, Whitby Time of call: 20:13

 A crew from Whitby have responded to a wheelie bin fire. On arrival the fire was already out and crews inspected only.  

Shaw Crescent, Hub Time of call: 21:23


 Crews from Easingwold have responded to an automatic fire alarm. This was a false alarm. 

Royal Crescent Lane, Scarborough Time of call: 22:07


 A crew from Scarborough have assisted gaining entry to a property for an elderly gentleman. Crews used hooligan tool.

Rimington Avenue, Richmond Time of call: 22:53

A crew from Richmond have responded to a single vehicle road traffic collision where the vehicle had struck a tree. All occupants were out of the vehicle on arrival of the fire service and crews gave first aid treatment to one occupant before the arrival of the ambulance service.

Low Hall Lane, Richmond Time of call: 23:47


A crew from Richmond have responded to an automatic fire alarm which turned out to be caused maliciously due to a break glass point being activated initially.
