 In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

 TOC    17:17   Fredrick Street, York

A crew from York gained entry to a property with a faulty door lock to enable the resident to get essential medication, ladders and a hooligan tool were used.

TOC    17:26   Lascelles Lane, Northallerton

A crew from Northallerton attended a report of an automatic alarm sounding, following investigation this was found to be due to cooking fumes.

TOC    Halfpenny Close, Knaresborough

A crew from Knaresborough extinguished a fire to old planks in the open.

TOC    18:42   Lancaster Park Road

A crew from Harrogate attended a report of an automatic alarm sounding, following investigation this was believed too be due to fumes from an e-cigarette

TOC    21:10   A659 Tadcaster

Two crews from Tadcaster attended a report of a horse box on fire, this caused damage to the horsebox and contents, no horses were involve. 2 breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet were used to extinguish the fire

A crew from York attended a report of an automatic alarm sounding, following investigation this was found to be due to cigarette fumes

TOC    22:37   Off, Chaloners Road, Acomb

A crew from Acomb attended a report of an automatic alarm sounding, following investigation this was found to be due to steam from a boiler.

TOC    22:43   Melrosegate, York

A crew from York attended a report of a fire in the open, this was extinguished using one hose reel jet.

TOC    23:27   Castle Bank, Swainby

A crew from Stokesley attended a report of youths setting fires in the open, following investigation no fires were found at the location given.

TOC    02:04   Back Lane, Wombleton

A crew from Kirkbymoorside attended an automatic fire alarm, following investigation this was caused due to insects in the detector head.

TOC    02:58   St Philips Grove, York

A crew from Acomb have extinguished a motorbike fire using one hose reel jet.

TOC    04:44   Barkston Ash

A crew from Tadcaster have extinguished a rubbish fire in a rear garden that had spread to a nearby hedge. This was believed to be initially controlled burning that was left unattended and crews used one hose reel jet.

TOC    05:46   Carthorpe

A crew from Bedale, Ripon and Masham have extinguished a fire confined to an oil burner inside a commercial premise. Crews have used four breathing apparatus and two hose reels. Incident is till ongoing.
