Automatic Fire Alarm – Manor Court, Hillam, Selby

2 Fire crews from Selby and an officer were mobilised to reports of an automatic fire alarm at a premises in Hillam where the collector station had no response from the occupier.   This incident turned out to be a small fire in the kitchen which led to heavy smoke logging, crews extinguished the fire and ventilated the property using a positive pressure ventilation fan and administered first aid and oxygen to the occupant.
