Incident Summary Saturday 6th May Day Shift


Please see below a round up of incidents from Saturday 6th May Day Shift


Incident 3832.  Time 1114


2 Skipton appliances attended a house fire in Low Bradley, near Skipton. The fire caused a small amount of damage in a first floor bedroom. One person was treated for possible smoke inhalation.


Incident 3837.  Time 1413


One person was released after becoming trapped in a lift in a residential home on Portland Crescent, Harrogate. Lift keys used.


Incident 3838.  Time 1432


A garden fence and a number of garden toys were damaged by a fire in Greenwood Grove, York. Crews used a hose reel to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire is unknown.


Incident 3839.  Time 1525


A fire in the open involving discarded furniture on a disused railway line in Knaresborough was dealt with by the Knaresborough crew using water knapsacks. The fire was started deliberately.


In addition to the above incidents our Fire crews attended fire alarm calls in York and Leyburn.  All were false alarms.
