Please see below a round up of incidents from Wednesday 25th October Day Shift

Time 0827     Location: Heslaker Lane, Carleton, Skipton

Skipton crews rescued 2 drivers from 2 separate vehicles after they became stuck in low-level flood water. 

Time 0941     Location: Finkle Street, Thirsk

Crews from Thirsk and Northallerton attended a small fire in a flat above shops.  On arrival of Fire crews the fire, located in the floorboards, was out due to the occupant using a fire extinguisher. Fire crews inspected and gave advice.

Time 1226     Location: Hanover Street West, York

Acomb and York crews attended a single vehicle road traffic collision that involved a car hitting the side of a house. Crews made the scene safe while Ambulance crews checked over the male driver.

Time 1531     Location: Broadway, Colburn

Richmond crew stood by with covering jets at the ready as gas leaked from an external pipe.  Gas company attended and isolated the leak.  

In addition to the above incidents our crews attended automatic fire alarm activations in Harrogate, Bedale and Stokesley.  All were false alarms.
