Incident Summary Saturday 2nd December Day Shift

2nd December 2017

0735 - Foston Grove, York

Boiler steam was mistaken for smoke coming from a domestic property. False alarm.  Huntington and York crews attended.

1043 - Forest Lane, Alne 

Easingwold attended a fire seen by a passer-by.  Turned out to be controlled burning.

1139 - York Road, Haxby

Huntington crew attended a small fire in an oven in an elderly peoples home. The fre was out on arrival of our crew, we inspected only.

1548 - A168 near Dalton, Thirsk

Thirsk and Ripon crews attended a road traffic collision involving 1 vehicle. No persons were trapped, Crews assisted with safety only.

1624 - Hawes National Park

A small rubbish fire behind a museum was quicky extinguished by the Hawes crew using a hose reel jet.

In addition to the above incidents crews attended automatic fire alarm calls in Clint, Scarborough and Selby.  All were false alarms.
