Incident Summary 5th November Day

5th November 2017

Please see below a round up of incidents from Sunday 5th November Day Shift

Time 1001     Location: Hunmanby, Filey

Filey crews used small tools to gain access to a safe containing urgent medication in a residential setting.

Time 1415     Location: Knavesmire, York

York crew extinguished a camp fire left unattended using a knapsack sprayer.

Time 1421     Location: Foxhill Lane, Brayton, Selby

Selby crews extinguished a bin deliberately set on fire with a firework. A hose reel was used.

Time 1435     Location: Battersby Moor

Stokesley crew investigated sightings of smoke – was found to be controlled burning of heather on the moor.

In addition to the above incidents our crews attended automatic fire alarm activations in Filey, York (3) and Harrogate.  All were false alarms.
