Pan Fire - Harrogate

Location:  Coppice Drive, Harrogate

At 1242 hours the Fire Service were called to a smell of burning coming from a flat in Coppice Drive.  Fire Crews from Harrogate and Knaresborough Fire Station attended.  Upon arrival crews found smoke coming from a flat on the first floor.  Due to the flat being unoccupied crews had to force entry using a door enforcer.  Once inside the flat crews found a pan left unattended on the hob.  Crews used 2 breathing apparatus, a hose reel and thermal imaging camera to deal with the fire.
