Property Fire - Grove Park Avenue, Harrogate

Location: Grove Park Avenue, Harrogate

Time: 1048 hours

2 fire engines from Harrogate and Knaresborough have been called to reports of a washing machine on fire in a domestic property in the town.

The washing machine was located in the kitchen of a first floor flat but fortunately damage was confined to the washine machine and the flat itself was not damaged.

The cause is believed to be a fault within the internal electrics of the machine.

Crews carried out an inspection only.
