Road Traffic Collision - A19 East Rounton

Toc:  1345 hours

Location:  A19 Southbound Carriageway, East Rounton

At 1345 hours the Fire Service were called to a two vehicle Road Traffic Collision on the A19 Southbound Carriageway at East Rounton.  Fire Crews from Northallerton and Stokesley attended.  A van and a car were involved.  The occupants of the van two males aged 17 and 32 years were both out of the vehicle prior to the Fire Service arrival, they were checked over by paramedics at the scene and did not attend Hospital.  The occupant of the car, a female aged 63 years was trapped in the car.  Fire Crews used two hydraulic cutters to release her she was taken to Hospital by ambulance suffering from chest, back and spinal injuries.
