Road Traffic Collision - A658 Follifoot

Location:  Junction of Haggs Road and A658 Follifoot

At 1814 hours the Fire Service were called to a two vehicle Road Traffic Collision at the Junction of Haggs Road and the A658 Follifoot.  Fire Crews from Knaresborough and Ripon attended.  The occupants of one vehicle a couple in their seventies both suffering from neck, back and lower leg injuries were both out of the vehicle prior to the Fire Service arrival. They were taken to Hospital by road ambulance.  The second vehicle a male driver who was suffering slight cuts to his forehead, and two male passengers suffering from cuts to the forehead.  The passengers were taken to hospital for a precautionary check up.  They were all out of the vehicle prior to the arrival of the Fire Service.  Crews assisted paramedics at the scene with first aid and assisted the Police with traffic management.
