Road Traffic Collision- Harrogate

Location:  Roundabout at South Drive, Harrogate

At 0538 hours the Fire Service were called to a Road Traffic Collision at the Roundabout at South Drive, Harrogate.  Fire Crews from Harrogate Fire Station attended.  The collision involved an MGZR car and a Skoda Octavia.  The occupant of the Skoda a male was out of the vehicle prior to the Fire Service arrival.  The occupant of the MG a male aged approximately mid twenties was trapped in the vehicle.  Fire Crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the roof and door to enable his release, he was then placed on a spinal board and taken to Hospital by ambulance.
