Road Traffic Collision - Village Street, Crathorne

26th April 2015

Location:  Outside the church on Village Street, Crathorne. 

Time: 2046 hours. 

A fire engine from Northallerton has been called to assist Police and Ambulance at the scene of a road traffic collision on Village Street in Crathorne.

A 4x4 style vehicle appears to have left the road and rolled on the bend outside the church.

4 occupants in the vehicle were not trapped however the male driver appears to have been thrown from the vehicle and is believed to have sustained life threatening injuries. 3 passengers (2 males and a female) have all been taken to hospital suffering from a broken leg, back injuries and superficial injuries.  All are believed to be in their late teens.

Fire crews have assisted paramedics administer first aid and transfer casualties to the ambulance.
