Roof rescue - Doherty Walk, York

Time: 1330 hours

A fire engine and aerial ladder platform from Harrogate have rescued a male from the roof of a 2 storey terraced property in York.

The male, believed to be in his mid 40's, had become stuck on the roof whilst attempting to remove a satellite dish.

Crews used a 9m ladder, roof ladder, harnesses and a ladder restraint kit.

The male was uninjured.
